New York Botanical Garden Wedding at the Stone Mill

Brigid and Max got married at the New York Botanical Garden during the summer and chose the Stone Mill as their venue. They loved the river running by the property and the whole setting reminded them of Colorado.

It was a very relaxed day with Brigid getting final touches done at the bridal suite before quickly putting on her dress. They had their First Look right next to the ceremony location. Max was just a little bit nervous but those calmed the moment he saw his bride! After that it was all easy going. We headed further into the garden with their bridal party for some formal photos before it was time for the ceremony. Stone Mill is a gorgeous setting in the New York Botanical Garden and you completely forget you’re in the city! Their friend officiated which I think is always extra special.

My favorite moment of the whole day was during the reception when Max did pushups with his brother during the best man speech! His brother explained that whenever Max needs a burst of energy he does a couple push ups. Genius! who needs coffee right?

The dinner reception was inside the Stone Mill but the dancing took place outside and is unique for a NYC venue. Just another reason why I loved this wedding!
